STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY

As you’ve discovered in this episode, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.

Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.

Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.

Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!

STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS

If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?

Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).

Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.

Love,

Michael

P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.

IMPORTANT: ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODES...

Please keep an eye out for emails from me. I space each episode out to once every 2-3 days to give people time to watch. Links to episode 2 and future episodes will be emailed to you, when ready.

  1. If I only had 30 seconds to share an insight with someone that suffered from a panic attack, I would tell them “panic attacks always end, no matter what you do. Panic attacks never last forever”. This is definitely one of the most helpful things I heard recently. Thank you, Michael!

  2. Very few people want to talk about social phobias, anxiety, panic attacks, and the like. It is like a taboo subject. Most people that don’t have a disabling impediment like these, always say they know how to handle situations, which only makes the sufferer feel guilty, or weak in some way. It is especially bad when close family members treat you this way.

    1. Thanks for commenting Greg. Sorry if you haven’t had the support from your family that you needed, but I’m glad you’re here so we can help you

  3. I have reached out for help because I can’t live like this everyday but I have found only judgment and people who clearly don’t understand what I experience everyday but when I listen to you I can tell you understand and that what made me feel better

  4. This is incredibly insightful Michael – I haven’t personally had a panic attack but someone very close to me lives with this everyday and it’s tough not having answers for her. She is incredibly brave and inspiring and hope this series will help her and me greatly. Looking forward to the second episode!

  5. Panic attacks do end! This is by far the hardest part for me to remember. As long as I push through, I will conquer and I can’t to watch more of the episodes to learn how.

    1. Yes, we need more than intellectual understanding, and that’s what episode 3 especially will give you. Thanks for commenting Tanin.

    1. Glad you enjoyed in Colette. Stay tuned, because the rest of the series obviously goes a lot deeper than this introductory episode.

  6. I have been having anxiety and I think panic attacks when I’m in crowds where there is no easy escape. Like in Assemblys where the only way to get out is to cause a scene. I just want to be normal again and be able to go into crowds with out fear. Episode 1 has given me hope. Thank you.

  7. This only the first episode but it’s making me feel a lot better already and I’m going to share it with a few of my friends who also have panic attacks.

  8. Thank you so much for your passion in helping people with their panic attacks, providing this service for free! I really need this! May the Lord bless you greatly for your kindness!

    1. You’re welcome Cynthia. I obviously have other offerings which give people 1-on-1 access to me, which are not free… but I’ve tried my best to give away as much as I can for free too, since panic is such a big issue in so many people’s lives. Thanks for your comment!

  9. Hope, iv suffered since I was a child due to abuse, I’m now 28y IV worked hard and now I have the opportunity to progress in my career and it has caused me no end of panic attacks and anxiety, I want to be free

  10. I would like to say just thank you for what you are doing, you help people everyday without asking anything, should be more people in this world with your same passion about the kind of problems

  11. This made me cry.. been having waves of panic attacks all day so I looked up panic help and tgis came up. It’s already begun helping me. It’s not your fault and your not going to go crazy where the biggest help already.

  12. Having never had a panic attack I’ve had the worst two weeks of my life! Not knowing what happened or how to deal with it after all doctors saying I’m fit as a fiddle! The first episode helped me greatly to understand the cognitive side of how I’m feeling and that accepting it and not fighting it is the best way to relax and deal with the anxiety!
    Thanksyou so much 👍

    1. So sorry to hear about the last two weeks Jamie, but so glad this first episode helped you greatly! Episode 2 will go much deeper 🙂

  13. I just want to say thank you for this episode, I look forward to watching more! I’ve suffered from 3 panic attacks a day for 4 years, and this episode touched my heart so much that I actually cried. It helps me to know that I’m not alone, and that what I’m experiencing all these times is nothing more than my mind trying to protect me, thank you for what you do in trying to help people that don’t understand what their going through

    1. Thanks Shannon, and you’re welcome. I’m glad you’re here as this series was designed for someone like you 🙂

  14. I am a 40 year old male suffering from Panic attacks occasionally since I graduated college. I have realized throughout the years that I was normal. But, lately I have forgotten with many stress levels currently. I have been getting dizzy from my attacks. During that I start thinking the worse. I start then to think what my wife and two beautiful daughters will do without me? Watching your Episode 1 made me realize that I am having false alarms and that I am normal and will overcome my anxiety issues. By the way you look like an angel. While I was watching your video you had a glow around you. You are definitely one of my many angels. May God always bless you for making these videos! Thank You and I can’t wait to watch the rest of your series.
