STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY

As you’ve discovered in this episode, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.

Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.

Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.

Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!

STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS

If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?

Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).

Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.

Love,

Michael

P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.

IMPORTANT: ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODES...

Please keep an eye out for emails from me. I space each episode out to once every 2-3 days to give people time to watch. Links to episode 2 and future episodes will be emailed to you, when ready.

  1. I really appreciate this and wish it was around 35 years ago when I had a severe panic disorder. I searched and searched for help to find out what was happening to me and how I could help myself.

    1. Yes, good help for panic is almost impossible to find. That’s why I made this series. I’m so glad you’re here now, Karen, so we can help you!

  2. Goodmornong! As i awaken from another day! I thank you! My Panic Disorder seems to haunt me even in my sleep. And it feels good to say im not alone! Thank you for your time to help others in Distress! I couldnt thank you enough!

    1. You’re welcome Nahum. The good news is that when we deal with panic attacks in the day, they’ll automatically stop at night too 🙂

  3. As a Firefighter it has been instilled in me me to be tough and to not sweat the small stuff.

After a recent promotion I am now held to a high standard by my peers. That alone causes me to have fear that I will not be accepted.

My hope is that I will understand why I fell this way and to correct my way of thinking about my anxiety.

    1. Hi Jonathan, while this series obviously won’t go into your specific situation… it will teach you a lot about anxiety, what doesn’t work, and what you can do instead. Thanks for your comment!

  4. Woke up with so much anxiety. Thanks to a you tube search I found this video. Now I’m not shaking and much more ready for the day. Going to watch more

  5. Amazing information> An excited to listen o all the episodes, like many I have not had any luck riding myself of this Panic and anxiety I have lived with for 25 years. Hope this is the answer and I can get out in the world and enjoy so much I have missed.

  6. Thank you kindly sir, I appreciate your help. My Mother also suffered from M.S. and I took care of her, and saw her loose her abilities. It was very tough on me, one of the reasons I developed panic disorders, I assume. On episode #1 so far so good. Oh and by the way, it was a privilege to be able to take care of my Mother, if it caused me stress and anxiety, it was worth it.

    1. Your mother is lucky to have you Omar! So glad you’re here so we can help you with the panic and anxiety you’ve had 🙂

  7. Thank you for your videos, we all know just how awful panic attacks are. You make a lot of sense so far. Just wondering how long until I can access video two please?

    1. Hi Adam, a link to video 2 will be emailed to you. I space out these episodes so as not to overwhelm people all at once. Thanks for your comment!

  8. I broke down in tears when you said that people with panic disorder are not broken. Thank you so much for this. My panic attacks have gotten so much worse and I have no idea how to stop them. They are literally ruining my life. I find it hard just to leave my home. When will you release your other videos?

    1. Hi Alicia, so glad this helped you. A link to video 2 will be emailed to you. I space out these episodes so as not to overwhelm people all at once. Thanks for your comment!

  10. I have lived with panic attacks for 18 years now. But I haven’t given up of finding healing. Yesterday I asked for divine help, to show me the way. This was in the afternoon. In the evening I found you on YouTube. Tears came to my eyes when you stressed how brave I have been because outsiders believe generally that it is a psychological problem. I know it is something in the system. I know how to stop it but healing has been elusive. THANK YOU!

  11. The fact that you yourself suffered a panic attack and know how devastating it could be to your social and professional life. The passion you show towards panic and anxiety.

  12. It’s very reassuring to know that I can get through this, and that I’m not alone. Thank you for doing this for me and others. Also, when or how are the other videos made available to view?

  13. I was crying in as I was watching this episode. This time not because of depression but b/c I see someone sees me from inside and address my anxiety and panic correctly. This is great and I am really happy and looking forward to seeing the future episode. Thank you so much.

  14. Really like the toaster idea, when u sit back, and think about it, its true.look forward to episode 2.Will be encouraging family members to watch and read this.

    1. You’ve got it Wesley. Panic attacks are overprotective, very well-intended false alarms of our “fear systems”.

  15. Micheal my name is Lawrence. And I belive you . You see what I experience and it’s nice to know your welcome anyone one to the program to let them know that panics is just a “false alarm” that you show how I should be worry free and become free again . I do belive this series will help me so I hope to see u on episode 2 for further information thank you once and forever
