STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY

As you’ve discovered in this episode, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.

Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.

Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.

Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!

STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS

If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?

Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).

Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.

Love,

Michael

P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.

IMPORTANT: ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODES...

Please keep an eye out for emails from me. I space each episode out to once every 2-3 days to give people time to watch. Links to episode 2 and future episodes will be emailed to you, when ready.

  1. Dear Michael, I’ve been in floods of tears watching this, as have been suffering with panic attacks since 1984 which is when I had my first panic attack, unfortunately I have not left my house due to becoming agoraphobic because of them and have spent the last 21 years indoors. I am now 54 years of age and was unable to attend my daughters weddings and have four grandchildren the oldest 13 and I have never been out anywhere with any of them which is heart breaking so to finally get the help I’ve needed for so long is truely a blessing and I sincerely thank you. And my answer to the question ‘What would I tell a friend in need’ I would tell them they are not alone, and help is out there. God Bless You.

  2. Having hope in what we feel is a hopeless situation is wonderful. Only people who have suffered this type of anxiety have any idea of what it feels like…and it truly is terrifying.

  3. I’ve been struggling with panic attacks for 6 months and I wish I had found panic free tv sooner. I’m glad I’m not the only one going through this. Thank you for the information!

  4. Hi Michael, I am loving what you have to say. I am doing this for my son, I am scared I will loose him. He has suffered for 18 years and the past month has talked about ending his life as the attacks are so debilitating. How can I help him, how can I keep my son. Please help me

  5. Hello. My 9 year old son has an issue with fear of getting sick. Which as a vicious cycle sends him into panic mode. He is missing school and activities because of this fear and panic. Is this program something a child could understand and benefit from? Thank you.

    1. Hi Shellina, this program isn’t designed for kids… but, by you watching it, you’ll be able to help him better. I really recommend a local child psychologist for kids (rather than online learning). Thanks so much.

  6. One essential insight that I would share with another person I had just met suffering from panic attacks is that no matter how much it feels like we could be dying, the panic attack will not kill you. I’ve only watched the intro and episode one and I am already beginning to feel some relief and gaining more hope that I can combat this.

    1. Nicely said Lindsey, and I’m so glad you’re already beginning to feel some relief!

  7. Hello Michael
So I was looking on YouTube for some breathing techniques and then came across your website ,
So glad I did first episode was amazing like you were talking to me and understood me like no one else , I am scared of feeling scared and its driving me crazy . I can not wait for episode 2,3 and 4 . I am a school teacher working with special needs children lots with social, emotional mental health problems but I’m terrified of everything why do our fears taunt us? I love the smoke alarm story its so true . I am looking forward to having no more worries that stop me being me , I’m lonely and bored of anxiety. Thank you for making the videos.
    Mary.

  8. I felt a panic attack coming and by the end of the episode my heart is nice and chill and I feel relaxed. Thank you for what you do Michael ,I am very grateful to have peace of mind in this moment. Looking forward to learning more

  9. It is nice to know I am not alone. I do have a heart condition that has caused me symptoms similar to panic attacks. I am so grateful to be started to be able to tell if it’s my heart or panic and anxiety.

  10. I’m so excited for episode 2. Feeling a part of such a brave bunch of people is so encouraging, especially having dealt with panic and anxiety for over 8 years. I know we can defeat this!!!

  11. Hi Michael,

I’m so happy that I decided to open your video. Normally, I wouldn’t enter my name & email address to watch anything online, but decided to give it a chance.

I cried so much watching this first episode & I’m still crying now. You’re right, panic/anxiety attacks is a horrible horrible feeling! I wish other people didn’t have to experience it. This first episode made me feel that I will overcome my recent panic & anxiety attacks & that I don’t have to fear that I’ll keep having these attacks in the future.

I was feeling nauseous all morning (And, the last couple of days) & just noticed that after watching this first episode, my nausea went away. Wow, THANK YOU so much!

I look forward to watching the other episodes.

    Aloha,
    Lynn
