STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY
As you’ve discovered in this episode, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.
Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.
Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.
Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!
STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS
If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?
Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).
Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.
Love,
Michael
P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.
IMPORTANT: ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODES...
Please keep an eye out for emails from me. I space each episode out to once every 2-3 days to give people time to watch. Links to episode 2 and future episodes will be emailed to you, when ready.

Great JOB, THANKS HEAPS
You’re welcome Mick!
its amazing how common anxiety and panic is, and sad how misinformed society is also. The toaster theory made sense to me immediately especially since i have a overly sensitive fire alarm and a smokey toaster…. ! very informative, thank you
So glad to hear that Sara!
Hello Michael,
This is so nice of you to share with people so they can have some releif. The way you described the feeling of panic attack and anxiety is so correct. It horrible to feel like that and not to know how to get rid of it. What you are doing is exactly what giving to others is. As Acts 20:35 says ” There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving” Thank you for your compassion.
Thanks for your kind words Andrea!
My panic attack is already subsiding. Thank you.
I’m glad to hear that Matthew
This gives me hope for an end to my panic attacks caused by claustrophobia. Thank you John
I’m glad to hear that John. Thanks for commenting!
If I were to share one thing specifically that is helpful to overcoming a panic false alarm, it would be that the feelings, although terrifying and very wide ranged, cannot and will not harm you. It will end and the after-effects will subside with the proper understanding and knowledge of how and why panic causes such sensations in the body and mind.
Thanks for sharing your insight Amanda!
watched intro with a knot in my stomach. Understand that panic attacks are mistakes. Can’t wait to see next episode.
This is a key understanding. Glad you got it! Thanks for commenting Bob
Anxiety is ruining my life and, even with a new job, I can’t sleep or even complete my duties because I am frozen with fear and failure. Depression and feeling that the end is near rules my thoughts. Life sucks right now as its 3 am and I have been up all week with panic attacks, but I hope this series might help.
I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve been going through Brandon, but I’m glad you’re here. There is so much we can do to help you!

Hi Berto, I’m glad you’re here to benefit from this series. Thanks for commenting
You are not alone, your fear is real and despite how scary it feels your brain is actually trying to protect you.
You’ve got it Jess! Thanks for commenting.
I suffer from night panic sometimes. I think I can’t breathe and am going to die usually just as I’m about to go to sleep its terrifying. I also have panic when travelling, about getting lost so now I miss out on family functions because I refuse to travel. But the main reason I stared with you Michael is because my granddaughter is suffering far worse. She’s only 10 and been having anxiety for the last year increasing to panic attacks every night. So I’m hoping it can help us both as she’s being sent to a psychiatrist next week or so for maybe medication and I don’t want this for her. The first episode makes sense to me and I’m going to try and explain it to her so it can help her too. Thank you Michael.
It is false alarm ; it is to keep u safe , ur not alone , ir is scary but not deadly
Gives hope and possibility of brighter, stronger future

made me feel better to realize I am not alone…… or stark raving crazy. Thank you so much!!!
I red episode #1, It s fantastic to see panic that way and have a very nice relief feeling .
Thank U so much . Can t wait for other episode . . .
I have suffered from panics since I was 13 years old. Over the years they have gotten progressively worse, and now, I even have panic attacks in my sleep. I have always been told panic disorders like mine, are for life. I hope to find a cure with your help, soon.
This helps me understand and is comforting to have strategies to deal with this limiting approach. My self imposed nemesis has been going on way too long. I have sought help in the past however it was not fully addressed. No more living life in the periphery. No more living life in the margins, life is way to short. Thank you I look forward to further insights.
