STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY

As you’ve discovered in this episode, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.

Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.

Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.

Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!

STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS

If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?

Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).

Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.

Love,

Michael

P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.

IMPORTANT: ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODES...

Please keep an eye out for emails from me. I space each episode out to once every 2-3 days to give people time to watch. Links to episode 2 and future episodes will be emailed to you, when ready.

  1. This first episode was very comforting. I am feeling hopeful for the first time in a very long time. Looking forward to episode 2. Thank you.

  2. I’ve been searching for answers for 10 years my panic attacks cost me my marriage and I just turned 30 and I missed out on all my twenties and my children are getting older and I’m ready to take that step I’ve been told to shove pills down my throat and I have a chemical imbalance and I just can’t take panic attacks anymore and I really hope that this program helps me

  3. I’ve had panic attacks for 10 years it cost me my marriage I missed the birth of all 4 of my children I just turned 30 and my wife asked me for a divorce because she said she can’t handle the stress of being the only one to work through all the cleaning all the grocery shopping and be the only one getting out of the house and I really hope this program helps

  4. Hi Michael,
After 45 years of panic attacks, fear of being alone etc., etc., I was so desperate today that I went on YouTube to hopefully find help to calm me down before developing into a full blown episode and there you were. I clicked on your site, listened to your beautiful voice and message and am now back in control. I’m praying that with your help I will at the age of 68 have a future where I start to live, go out, travel, see the world for real and not just through the tv before it’s too late. Thank you for helping me through today. Lynne

  5. Very timely. Thank you. I always believed fear was a natural response for safety but didn’t quite understand the connection with that fear and my panic attacks.
    Thank you

  6. I didn’t realise how common panic attacks are. I guess we tend to try to hide them out of embarrassment or fear. I was misdiagnosed way back as having post natal depression. No real help has ever been offered by the medical profession except anti-depressants which I wont take.Listening to your first session has turned things around for me already and I look forward to listening to the rest. Big thank you.

  7. Its comforting to know it is just an overprotective mistake our brain makes to keep us safe! Also knowing even famous people get panic is a bit comforting and that so many people in the world suffer from panic as well.

  8. great video, I’ve been suffering from a constant panic attack for the last two days and I already feel better watching your video. thank you for creating and caring!

  9. Very informative I haven’t been the same since my first ever panic attack I had last year im hoping this will help end it all how do I acces episode 2 ?

  10. Thank you so much – it helps to know that others understand this condition too. It can be so awful and scary~ Looking forward to learning more! Much appreciated!!

  11. Brilliant so reassuring especially the myth of chemical imbalance. Maybe that’s why the antidepressants the doctors have put me on don’t make any difference. I have suffered on and off for 20 years with panic and anxiety following the suicide of my sister. It really struck a chord with me when you said your first panic attack was due to your fear of developing MS like your mum. My panic is all about mental health and what if I end up like my sister. Its a relief to realise its just my body try g to protect me but after 20 years in still not sure how to stop my body trying to protect me. Looking forward to next session

  12. My take away from your talk was a combination of I’m not alone on this journey, I can be safe all the time, it’s a fixable thing, and knowing how community is so very important, we are doing this healing together. Thanks so much. Hope you are doing the next session soon. And thanks again for your generosity in sharing these videos.

  13. Its July 2018 and since last year around October 2017 I’ve been having high anxiety I was able to control it but for the pass 2 weeks it has came back and worst I felt like I was the only person going through this until I watch the first episode I realized I’m not the only one im patiently waiting on the 2nd episode to arrive I’m so ready to go back to my normal life

  14. I started having panic about 20 years ago. Back then, I was smoking pot daily. But I started having what I now know as panic. I would have to pace the floor and “walk it off”. I would drink lots of water. Anything to help the panic subside. Presently, I have a panic episode about 1 time a month. I even have minor episodes in the middle of the night. In fact, a couple of years ago, I was having a panic episode that was so terrifying that I thought I was having a heart attack. In the last three years I’ve had panic that sent me to the hospital because I thought I was having a heart attack. What it turned out to be was gas compounded by panic. The ER doctor assured me that my heart was fine. They took blood and did an EKG and told me that I had no hormones in my blood that would be evident of a heart attack and the EKG showed my heart was fine. Knowing this has helped because I know when an episode starts, I’m just having what you call an over-sensitive smoke alarm. This helps. I’m watching this series and hope it will help!
