STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY
As you’ve discovered in this episode, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.
Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.
Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.
Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!
STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS
If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?
Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).
Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.
Love,
Michael
P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.
IMPORTANT: ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODES...
Please keep an eye out for emails from me. I space each episode out to once every 2-3 days to give people time to watch. Links to episode 2 and future episodes will be emailed to you, when ready.

Thank you so much for sharing and caring. Not too many would do what you are doing. You are a wonderful human being.
I am very new to panic disorder and I am still a student, I hope these videos, instructions and your life experiences make a difference in my life. I just want to switch my panic life to normal life.
I find relief knowing that I’m not alone and that true relief exists.
This was so helpful! I truly want to get my panic free life back! Most of the time I feel like that will never happen. It is great to hear that I do not have a chemical imbalance because all my doctors want me to go on an antidepressant. I will share this with anyone I know that is struggling. I look forward to the next episode. Thank you so much!
It’s benefits me a lot
Michael in one episode you managed to achieve more then a psychologist over a six week period. Just cried listening to this first introduction episode and I never cry! Look forward to the rest of the episodes. High hopes.
I have had attacks for over 20 years and the mantra I use during them is ‘I am safe, I am having an attack, it will be over soon’. I am not sure if it actually helps reduce the length of time the attacks last but it does give me a focus during them. I am on an anti anxiety medication as the anxiety surrounding the fear of an attack is quite bad. I long for the day medication is not needed. I have 2 or 3 panic attacks a week and am hoping this series will help reduce the number of attacks as at this stage I am not hopeful of a panic attack free life! I am staggered by the amount of people who suffer from them, it is comforting to know there are enough people with this problem that you have shared what you know from studies and personal experience. Thank you
My psychiatrist told me I have depression. It is already 10 months when I am taking antidepressants and I had 5 hypnosis seances to fight my depression. But I am sure I have panic attacks. If I really can get out of them, my world will change.
I found Episode 1 to be so helpful and am eagerly looking forward to Episode 2. Your words were very comforting to me because I have suffered for so long. I now see that there may be an end to my pain in sight. Thank you so much!
Your kind words and approach to panic have given me the courage to deal with it! I have faith in me. I am excited about this journey… Thanks Michael
Thank you Michael. I feel hopeful again !
My best takeaway from this is that the panic response is a natural one and when my father wonders why I’m the only one in the family to ‘turn out like this’, he’s wrong on 2 fronts: it’s unlikely I’m the only one AND my body’s response is absolutely natural.
I found you through youtube and have been listening to your hypnosis every night for the last 4 nights. Diagnosed with complex PTSD 9 years ago, I have been unable to sleep unmedicated since the adult-experienced trauma that triggered it. The last 4 nights I’ve halved my sleeping medication (still staying on the antidepressants because I know not to stop them immediately) and last night, when I noticed I was late to bed (something that would normally send me into a downward spiral of worry and insomnia) I SMILED. And my first thought was ‘oh, I’ll be asleep soon’. And no catastrophizing followed. I got a full night of sleep. There aren’t enough thanks I can give you. I’ve tried every medication, visualization/centreing, multiple MULTIPLE doctors/psych doctors of every description, drugs and alcohol, other hypnosis recordings… almost a decade I’ve struggled with NO relief, not one single night. Sleep for me = absolute terror. No more.
Your approach of not requiring us to dwell on the trauma in order to overcome it is what’s led me to sign up and work through the rest of your material. Thank you so much for sharing it.
Excellent first video, thanks. When can I watch Episode 2?
I have suffered panic attacks in different seventies for over 42 years. I have managed it better over the last few years, but from time to time, it becomes unbearable. Listening to the first video has only re-inforced what I already knew, and has given me comfort that what I knew was correct. I thankyou Michael for helping people with this as it is life crippling. TY
That they are FALSE ALARMS and cannot harm you. They are here to protect you.
I’m 54 and have had panic attacks since I was kidnapped at 18. I am 85%better but just cant seem to reach 100%. It’s terrible that it has robbed me of so many years. AVOID is my middle name, lol. I do better because I avoid situations alot. I’ve enjoyed the 1st video. When and how do I get the 2nd?
Best explanation: panic attacks are like fire alarms. Sometimes, there is no real danger and just a false alarm.
Thank you very much
After two years of suffering anxiety, I finally have a good idea of what is happening to me. Now I feel relieved that this is not going to kill me, or hurt me in any way, this motivates me to start managing my thoughts and not let them grow out of proportion. Thank you so much.
Hi how do you overcome the fear to flight?
