STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY
As you’ve discovered in this episode, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.
Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.
Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.
Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!
STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS
If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?
Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).
Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.
Love,
Michael
P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.
IMPORTANT: ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODES...
Please keep an eye out for emails from me. I space each episode out to once every 2-3 days to give people time to watch. Links to episode 2 and future episodes will be emailed to you, when ready.

Thank you . Its nice to know that its a mistake instead of a defect.
Unbelievably inspiring and southing… i’m so grateful that you’ve created this so very supportive net for all us suffering from panic attacks! good job really!
Thank you
I’d tell people their panic attack is like a smoke detector going off over a piece of burnt toast, thinking it’s an actual fire, but their mind doesn’t yet know this.
Thank you so much for this. Panic “attacks” were the worst experiences of my life (I was sure that my heart was damaged by it, so I even went to hospital for EKG, Ultrasound and had my blood taken and tested – as you would assume, they found nothing wrong). Your videos helped a lot. Thanks again! Sending love from Czech Republic.
I am not along in this journey, and the panic mistake can be corrected.
Your voice is soothing. Thanks!
Very much looking forward to episode 2. Thank you Michael, you really do understand.
I am definitely grateful I found your videos on YouTube. I’m actually in the process of counseling and 3 days ago I was prescribed medication. The pills are still in the paper bag on my kitchen counter because the conversation with my psychiatrist made me question alot. One question she asked hit me hard and actually made me question myself of wanting to be a counselor in the field of psychology. She asked me if there was something to fix what would it be? I think I felt worse after hearing that. I legit felt a validation of feeling broken. I am graduating in March, receiving my Bachelor’s in psychology (the irony).
But To answer your question Michael it is difficult for me to choose one thing because everything you have explained I would say is very important but depending on the individual and their state of mind and what is their main feeling or concern would help me choose what insight I would share.
To me in my opinion, because of where I am at with these panics, the constant anxiety and what actually brought me to tears was the fact of being told that it isnt an illness. Many people into the psychology field views people of needing to be fixed, that they are broken in some way and I myself wanting to work in the field I don’t agree with viewing people struggling with mental illness that way.
Thank you Michael for the information you have provided. It actually helped me see my panic and anxiety in a different light.
Hi Michael,
It is great to know that 28%, 1 out of every 3/4 people feel these mistaken fight or flight fireings in their brains too.
I have had panic attacks in my past in very stressful emotional situations however I had 2 very intense anxiety attacks Friday at work and then again on Monday that I felt we’re abnormal. I also suffer from asthma and so the breathing symptoms and fear of death are so acute for me I felt very embarrassed and misunderstood when my boss told me to calm down and that there was nothing for me to be afraid of. Even during the attack I knew he was right it really wasn’t a dangerous situation. The pain and fear was intense as any real dangerous situation I’ve experienced. I’m looking forward to the information and perspectives in you next video. I live in America and know what those seeking a diagnosis for psychic pain go thru, I have a sister that I love very much with bipolar. I have an appointment to discuss what happened with my Dr. but really don’t want to have to see so many expensive specialists to solve this issue beacuse the financial stress is by itself a source of anxiety.
Thank you for creating this free information
Could not explain things any better, Amazing 💙
I just want to comment as I appreciate Michael’s help so much. I was suicidal and never expected his words could have helped me. Just try remember if you are on fire right now with anxiety and fear you are not going insane and you are not going to melt into a quivering heap. There is no fire but you are right to feel crazy, because the alarm has short circuited. Just knowing it’s the alarm and not a fire has done wonders. I am hanging in there though as I have only just finished listening to the first episode. Hope this gives whoever is reading this a bit of a lift, 🎈
Thank you so much really looking forward to the next episode and downloading the sheet a excellent idea I’ll be sure to read it many times …I’ve just been diagnosed with cptss and trauma bonding due to my past relationship would be extremely grateful if you could help me in anyway well again thank you I’m so glad I found you on YouTube
Thank God for you. I Love you too. Very Much.
You are ok, your body’s alarm system only thinks there is an emergency but there isn’t. You are ok. False Alarm.
I’m glad I found this guy. He sounds allot better than the anxiety guy and provides more info on anxiety and panic disorder. I’ve been having panic attacks since last year of January, constant attacks for 5 months straight.
Finally got diagnosed with GAD “Generalized Anxiety Disorder” Panic Disorder, PTSD and Bipolar II which runs on my mom’s side. Currently seeing a therapist. Talk therapy and CBT helps allot. Got bad social anxiety and hypochondriac “health anxiety” would often get panic attacks every night. I’m glad I found Michael on YouTube by accident after watching a EFT video. I’m tired of suffering, tried meditation, EfT, on medications for my anxiety. I feel like nothing’s helping it’s ruining me and my relationship with my family.
I had a very bad panic attack tonight. I was looking stuff up on the internet about how to get rid of it and I stumbled upon your video. It helped me a lot. I smiled when you said that a “panic attack” is just a mistake that our brain is making. It made me laugh and I started to realize that I was going to be okay. I appreciate this very much. Thank you.
Your voice is perfect for these videos.
I wish I could have found this sooner. I have tried medications and I am overly sensitive and it has made my panic attacks worse.
Yay finally i am excited about something again.I feel like there is hope again, can’t wait for episode 2 . My life feels like it has been on hold for such a long time due to my anxiety and panick attacks going shopping may some time in the future be something i look forward to again rather than being fearfull, amongst other things. I like the part about the smoke detector i just wish mine was not so overreactive hehe…good to know that it is doing what it is suppose to though in an emergency hooefully soon it will also know when not to react.😊
