STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY

As you’ve discovered in this series, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.

Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.

Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.

Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!

STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS

If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?

Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).

Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.

Love,

Michael

P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.

  1. I am not sure yet what I think about everything you have to say. I notice you are fairly young and I do believe a little bit of age makes a huge difference to how we each experience these panic attacks. But I thank you anyway for what you have to say.

  2. Thank you Michael. Your insight and knowledge on this subject is truly a blessing. Thank you for defining and explaining what this really is. I’ve been told all kinds of things, like it’s because of parental issues, or a mental illness. Having endured Anxiety and Panic (or fear of Panic) for decades, I now feel absolutely enlightened, and relieved about what is really going on! It makes so much sense. I can now see how changing our reaction to body sensations and triggers is going to be the key.

  3. My BIG PROBLEM is the over-breathing! Everywhere I have turned before has recommended breathing excersises, but…as you said, to me that makes it worse! But then I focus on trying not to breathe as much and feel as though I am not getting enough air, so end up back in the same cycle!

  4. My BIG PROBLEM is the over-breathing! Everywhere I have turned before has recommended breathing excersises, but…as you said, to me that makes it worse! But, then I focus on trying not to breathe as much and feel as though I am not getting enough air, so end up back in the same cycle!

  5. I don’t have panic attacks but I and anxious and depressed. It always comes back to my self confidence which makes me feel constantly like I am scared and anxious. I am so anxious I can’t function. Can this help me ?

  6. Michael thank you for this information, it has already made a difference and an understanding of what’s been happening to me and why… I’ve been to several doctors and with no good results only more pills, God bless your mission and I’m looking forward to episode # 3 🌞🌈🌱James C

  7. Hi Michael, I’ve started to watch your panick free session few days ago. Great help! I’ve recently suffered from anxiety and panic attacks which comes and goes in my life whenever I’m under a little bit more pressure. I’m looking forward to episode 3 🙂 fingers crossed so far I find it really helpful and refreshing. I also downloaded your instant calm session (amazing!)
Im claustrophobic and noticed that this can very often trigger my panic attacks. Any advice?
    Many thanks in advance.

  8. My panic attacks started due to a sinus blockage preventing me from sleep as I felt I couldn’t breathe. YES I know I can breathe however my brain overreacts so I wake up constantly out of a perceived fear. hopefully this series can assist

  9. It’s so wonderful and reassuring the hear the logical and scientifically backed information and data regarding the triggers and root cause of panic. You do a fabulous job in explaining this, thank you!

  10. Thank you I’m learning so much. My biggest issue are panic attacks from breathing. I start to hyperventilate and I don’t know if i’m breathing enough or too little and it triggers an attack. I read many articles online and watched many videos they all said to do deep breathing and I feel it makes it worse my chest tightens and I’m scared to breath. I wake up in the middle of the night out of breath at midnight almost daily. I’m looking forward to episode 3 to learn more.
