STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY
As you’ve discovered in this series, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.
Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.
Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.
Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!
STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS
If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?
Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).
Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.
Love,
Michael
P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.

Yes I’m waiting for episode 3 things are starting to make sense
Thank you very much ,Michael!I begin to understand what made me feel so scared !
This helped so much. I cant believe how much control ive gained in such a short amount of time. I just wish these sensations would go away. Im really trying my best but these sensations are in my head and cause Me to think im getting something awful.
Panic is just an oversensitive brain, over-reacting to a non-dangerous situation as if there was a tiger chasing you! Understand Hyperventilation as the key sensation or trigger for panic.
Episode 2 was an eye opener – I had always been athletic, but when panic came into my life, my activity levels declined as well. I never put it together that I was subconsciously avoiding the rapid breathing and heart rate. Looking forward to #3.

From this I’ve been able to stop the panic attacks so far, but still constantly surrounded by the constant anxiety and fear all day about this problem. I constantly have the anxiety around it, making me get these body sensations and thus creating the situation for a panic attack. How can I stop these anxiety and panicky thoughts about fearing panic attacks in the first place?
Thanks Michael watching this episode gives me a hope to overcome my panic disorder. Can’t wait to watch the episode 3 now! Thanks a lot!
What would be the best way to interrupt the anxiety cycle; which therefore stops the body sensations?

Thanks for the information given in Episode 1 and 2 which I have found helpful and reassuring I have suffered from anxiety for 8 Years and it has ruined my life. Looking forward to episode 3 and learning techniques that can help me beat this.
Hi! I really like your videos and i feel like you genuinly care about other people and really understand how it is. I deal with Panic Disorder and have trouble to just walk out of my apartment at days. Everything you are talking about makes perfect sense but it is so hard to get to the point where I don’t react to my anxiety symptoms. It feels like i am beeing robbed at the moment of my ability to think and my main goal then is to get to a safe place. I understand this would only feed the anxiety. But how do I not react to symptoms when I know that they are not dangerous? It does not help me that i know because my body really thinks otherwise and I am still getting stuck in the panic pattern. I really think what you are talking about is the solition but it is hard to get to the tipping point to not be afraid. Thank you for this.
This is very interesting. I have about 3 panic attacks a day. I find this helping so far I’m on episode 2. Thank you.
I have watched 1 and 2 and although I understand the way our brains make mistakes. I have had them since 94 and my life has been a living hell. Can I stop them altogether.? Please help
