STEP 2: HELP FRIENDS & FAMILY

As you’ve discovered in this series, panic attacks (and what's typically labeled as ‘panic disorder’) are very common.

Unfortunately, good help for panic is very hard to find.

Since I can't reach everyone on my own, and since we both share the same belief that we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence… if you benefit from what I’m doing here in this series, please tell others about it.

Thank you so much for helping me make a difference!

STEP 3: REINFORCE YOUR INSIGHTS

If you met someone else who experienced panic attacks and you only had 30 seconds to share ONE ESSENTIAL insight from this episode with them... what would you tell them?

Share your answer below to reinforce your long-term memory for this key insight AND to share your perspective with others (who will also share their perspectives with you).

Also, if you have any other comments for me, I'd love to hear them too.

Love,

Michael

P.S. Your email address will NOT be visible to others when you share your insight in the comments section below. Also, if you're more comfortable using just your first name, that's totally fine as well.

  1. Episode 1 and 2 have already made a huge difference in my life. Very thankful for this help and resources. I feel that there is now some light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Michael.

    1. Thanks so much for letting me know that this is helping you Lindsey! 🙂

  2. Now that I know what is causing my panic it seems much less intimidating. My burnt toast is a faster heartbeat, I have a heart condition as well that can cause sudden death so my false alarms were going off so much I could not function. After watching your first 2 episodes I understand my phsychological condition enough to be feeling real relief and hope. I am so grateful to have found you!

    1. Hi Robyn, I’m really glad to hear that this episode is giving you real relief. That’s wonderful to hear!

  3. Thank you for your help Michael. It has helped me understand why I feel heavy in the chest and have uncontrollable symptoms of rapid breathing. Looking forward to the third episode…
    Many thanks, Jeff.

  4. Thank you so much for this video. I started suffering from panic attacks two weeks ago. I was feeling worthless, but after listening to your videos, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    1. Hi Martha, I’m so glad you’re starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

  5. Hi Micheal , in the past i had really bad experience with Anxiety n panic attacks i was ok for a couple years but again last week two times i end up in the emergency room not a pleasant feeling i do not wish it for nobody, but by hearing what you saying and explain it so good give me such a relieve. i can’t thank you enough .is there any way that we can stop body sensations ? thank you thank you i will share it with those that i know that they are suffering too . thank you God bless you

  6. Understanding the panic pattern is everything! I totally get how u send myself into panic now because of the bodily sensations I feel. This is so helpful! Thanks again!

  7. I recently been having panic attack type symptoms( overwhelming butterflies/tightness in stomach, nauseau, sudden extreme lightheadedness and head fog). I went to my doctor and he says it’s anxiety…BUT I am in my fifties and have NEVER EVER had panic attacks before(aside from butterflies in stomach occasionally). I don’t have hyperventilation which is supposed to be associated with panic attacks and there is no events in my life right now that I can consciously see as the triggers, so anxiety/panic does’nt make sense to me!?! So is this what I have? Anxiety /Panic attacks?

    1. Hi Vito, while I can’t comment on your specific situation… I can make a few general comments. First… not all panic attacks are associated with hyperventilation (there is a subgroup that’s not). Also, false alarms can come at any age… and while less common, many people still start getting false alarms much later in life. On top of this, sometimes false alarms happen from very innocuous things. Stressful life events, while common, are not always required. So your doctor might well be right… but since I’ve never met you, I can’t comment on your specific situation. I hope this helps. Thanks for your comment!

  8. I have had anxiety issues for about 4 weeks now. Its been keeping me from sleeping. Every time I lay down to sleep I begin to have those fight or flight feelings, and feel exhausted. Any words of wisdom?

  9. I came across this the first time I was looking to educate myself on why I get panic attacks and needed a logical reason as I’ve gone through therapy and psychiatric help and still wouldnt get a straight answer on to why I felt the way I did when this would happen and this has saved me on so many ways I can not thank you enough for this! I recently started getting panic attacks again and I needed clear answers since I am so tired of the same circle medication therapy etc. You have calmed me for a second time now and helped me understand so much and stopped and other panic attack from me ending up in the hospital. I will share this with as many people as I can everyone who suffers from anxiety and panic should know about you. Thanks you sooo much!!

  10. I am really enjoying these videos. I downloaded and read your fact sheet. I have a question. If breathing techniques don’t help and can even cause more harm, what do you suggest we do when we are breathing like that? Thank you.

  11. Thank you so much for these videos. I think soon Ill be panic free. There is just so much information that goes with my panic experiences that you explain and now im understanding more and more about the whole panic/anxiety situation. Thank you once more for these videos and cant wait for episode 3.

  12. Just watched episode 2 and learnt a whole heap! I identified what my trigger is and realised actually how far back in my life it has been controlling me. Can’t wait to finally be panic free. Roll on episode 3!

  13. When an ER doctor told me I was “chronically hyperventilating” by over breathing I thought it was bs. How could breathing hurt me?? Thank you for explaining this concept so simply and helping me understand how this relates to and increases my symptoms.

  14. I would share about the fire and the burnt toast. That was a huge help. Thank you so much. Looking forward to #3!!

  15. I have suffered with panic and anxiety for over a decade I’ve also been diagnosed with Afib which makes my panic and anxiety worse I’m hoping that your program will help my anxiety and panic go away from once and for all. I am Praying that my Panic and Anxiety Will once and for all be gone. Thank you for this program. God Bless You
